Who we are

Proud coffee producers for three generations.

1966

In 1966, it all started in a quaint town in Ogliastra. Five brothers, leading a trucking company, made a bold move to expand their horizons. They acquired the plant of a defunct coffee roasting company in the city of Cagliari, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey.

1970

By 1970, the family delved deep into the intricacies of the coffee craft, mastering every aspect from sourcing premium beans to the art of roasting and sales. As their expertise grew, so did their coffee business, quickly becoming their primary focus.

1980

Entrepreneurship lies at the heart of our company’s success.
With the acquisition of the island’s first automatic roaster, we unlocked the ability to consistently produce high-quality coffee that resonates with our growing base of loyal customers.

1988

The advent of vacuum-sealed coffee revolutionizes the coffee market, posing a challenge to one of our company’s core values: maintaining product freshness and quality. In order to uphold our promise, we make a strategic decision to shift away from large-scale organized distribution. Instead, we focus exclusively on serving coffee shops, restaurants, and bakeries, ensuring that our commitment to excellence remains unwavering.

2000

While major coffee brands expand their influence, occasionally acquiring longstanding Sardinian labels, we remain resolute in preserving our unique identity. By maintaining our status as direct importers from the world’s best coffee origins, we fortify our position in the island’s market.

2020

Our project reaches new heights as we unveil a fresh brand identity, boldly delineating the company’s distinct values. This identity, uniquely ours, is complemented by a revamped, expanded, and more organized site, positioning us for the future while honouring our humble beginnings.

2023

Over the course of 60 years, we’ve fostered a strong environmental ethos, turning down market trends such as plastic capsules. As a multi-generational family enterprise, we’re excited to introduce our latest endeavour: paper pods. Weighing 7.5 grams each, these pods offer an authentic coffee shop espresso experience while being fully compostable, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability.

Sustainability

Our commitment

The high-quality of our coffee extends beyond taste, placing people and the environment at the forefront of our processes.
We ensure increasingly sustainable coffee through meticulous selection processes at plantations in Brazil, Central America, India, and Africa. Here, quality isn’t just about beans; it’s about fostering the best working conditions.
Our innovative roasting plant boasts advanced technology that recycles hot air from the roasting process, reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.
With a solar photovoltaic system generating surplus energy, we contribute to greening the grid by exporting excess electricity.
We prioritize sustainability by using carefully selected recycled or recyclable materials, such as our 100% compostable paper pods, ensuring that each product transforms into resources at the end of its life cycle.
With a forward-thinking perspective, our sole aim is to ensure we always strive to do better.
